Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026

This page explains how Tommy Hilfiger — Fashion Development & Manufacturing Studio — handles information you give us when you use this site or start a project. It is written for the work we actually do: design, development, technical work, materials, pattern, sampling, production, quality control, and delivery.

This is a studio site, not a retail store. We do not run accounts, wishlists or a shop checkout. The information we care about is the brief you send so we can decide if we can take the product from idea to a sellable garment.

Who this is for

We work with fashion brands and people who have a brand and a product idea. This policy is for you if you read the site, open a note, or send a project brief through the contact page.

The site is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us a brief, write through the contact page and we will delete it.

What we collect

Most pages can be read without sending us anything. We collect personal information when you choose to start a project.

The contact form asks for:

  • About you: name, brand name, website, country, email, Instagram handle.
  • About the project: product category, number of styles, estimated quantity, target price, target launch date.
  • The stage you are in: idea, designs or sketches, tech packs, samples, or ready for production.
  • What you need: design, collection development, tech pack, pattern making, sampling, fabric sourcing, trim sourcing, production, quality control, packaging.

Name, country, email, product category and stage are required so we can reply and place the brief. The rest is optional. Do not send payment-card numbers, passport scans or passwords through the form. We do not ask for them there.

If we take the project, you may later send files that belong to the work: sketches, references, tech packs, measurement charts, fabric names, sample comments. We treat those as part of the brief, not as marketing data.

What your browser sends

Like any website, the server or host that serves these pages may see ordinary technical data: the page requested, browser type, language, and a rough location from the network address. We do not use that to build a profile of you, and we do not run advertising pixels.

The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. That request goes to Google’s servers. Google’s own privacy policy applies to that request. We do not send them your brief.

How we use it

We use what you send only to run the studio path:

  • to understand the brand, the product and the stage you are in;
  • to reply, ask for missing information, or say the brief is not a fit;
  • to plan design, technical work, materials, pattern, sampling and production if we work together;
  • to match the product to the right specialist facility;
  • to keep a record of what was agreed — quantities, materials, sample comments, delivery — while the project is open.

We do not sell this information. We do not rent it. We do not use a brief to send retail newsletters or lookbook mailings.

Who we share it with

A loose idea stays with us until there is a reason to share it. If the project moves into materials, sampling, or production, we share only what the next step needs with the people doing that step — for example a mill, a trim supplier, a pattern maker, or the facility matched to the product.

We do not publish your brand, your quantities or your files as a case study unless you have agreed in writing.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or if we must protect the studio or someone else from serious harm. That is not a routine path.

How long we keep it

If we do not take the project, we keep the brief long enough to finish the conversation — usually a few months — and then delete it, unless you ask us to keep it for a later season.

If we work together, we keep the brief, the tech information and the production record for as long as the development and delivery need them, and for a reasonable period after delivery in case of a quality question or a repeat order. We do not keep payment-card data. Payment terms are agreed in the project, not stored from this website.

How it is held

This site is a set of static pages. The contact form is the door for a brief, not a public database. Once a brief reaches us, we handle it as project correspondence, not as a marketing list.

Files you send later — packs, patterns, comments — stay with the project. We do not put them on this public site.

Your choices

You can write through the contact page to:

  • ask for a copy of what you sent;
  • correct a name, email or brand detail;
  • ask us to delete a brief we are not working on;
  • ask us to stop using a contact detail for a closed project.

If a production is already open, we may need to keep the technical record until delivery and any agreed follow-up are finished. We will say so if that is the case.

Links and other sites

Pages on this site may point to a brand website or an Instagram handle that you typed yourself. Those sites have their own policies. The Cookies Policy explains what this site does and does not store in the browser. The commercial relationship, once a project is accepted, is described in the Terms of Business.

Changes

If the way we collect or use information changes — for example if we add a new field to the form, or a host that processes mail — we will update this page and the date at the top. The current text is the one that applies.

Contact

Questions about this policy, or about a brief you already sent, go through Start a Project. Use the same form and say you are writing about privacy. We will treat that as a request, not as a new production inquiry, unless you also want us to look at a product.
